"...The style is great; it lets the reader take a close look at these weird and crazy characters without being too obvious or condescending towards their often self-involved, blundering ways, allowing a nice, good-spirited laugh. I'd say there's a pretty big appeal age-wise, too...I'm 21 and enjoyed it, but I could easily see myself reading it five years ago and liking it then, too.
