News: Even though it's practically vacation time, it's not too early to start talking about a great Halloween book which is one where I have an important advisory part. It's a ghost story, naturally, which you could read right now and not explode, except from fright and laughter. Also, another one already on the shelves is Tery Ordway's story which had a nice long review in School Library Journal, a place where librarians find good stuff for kids to read, is a huge big success. Flamingnet Reviews gave the book a big thumbs-up, too. But the big news I am sneaking in here is about my own great book about a really weird woman who nobody ever saw in the daytime and who got a lot of money out of us dumb Balonaclucks supposably to publish our poetry which never got published. So I wrote this fine weird book about her and stuff. It's a big hit in both School Library Journal and Flamingnet Reviews, too, so you could read it and Community Spirits, together, except you might read Community Spirits first. Mr. Don Keyshot tells some very personal stuff about his fun and painful adventures in Balona and elsewhere. Mr. Keyshot mentions me by name in the book which is titled, A Perched-in Soul, and tells how I'm a pretty good journalist, etc. He also talks about my journalistic rival with her (today) blue hair, Mrs. Bellona Shaw, but enough already about her. I said before, but it always bears repeating: you can buy books right on this Web site on PayPal with your credit card. You could, for example, find a good story about real rich Claire and me who is not rich at all. Buds is so good that the great author Gail Giles also will tell you it is really fine. Also, now that my Pales are gone, I would feel a whole lot more improved if you will e-mail me and tell me if you like my blog. Patella's E-Mail |
