News: The big news in town is that Penny Ordway, Claire's mom, is going to have a little baby some day in the next few months. Which is nice for everybody since it will be gorgeous, whatever its sex, since Penny is its ma and hunky Mark Ordway is its pa. You could get famous if you wrote me with a suggestion of names, and the Ordways chose one of those names. There's no new book about the baby yet (although I'm thinking about writing one), but you could probably get a hint if you read Tery's book about the big earthquake.

   More big news is about my own great book about a really weird woman who nobody ever saw in the daytime which I won't say more about, since it will be out in October. Except it's getting great pre-publication reviews from big-time critics.

    More yet: Mr. Don Keyshot is telling about some of his funny and painful adventures. I am one of the stars in his book which is titled, A Perched-in Soul, and tells (in November) how I'm a pretty good journalist, etc.
