You probably get lots of Valentines. I do not. It's not because I am anti-Valentine. It's because I don't suck up to people the way other people do. So, now that I know why I don't get any, I feel a lot better. It's not exactly true that I don't get any at all. I always get one from Pastor Nimitz Chaud, where I don't even go to church very often. And I get one from Claire, who is my friend even though rich. And, that reminds me, I get one from Mr. Keyshot and, naturally from Zacky Burnross. Actually, I also get one from another good little friend, Tery Ordway who has written a fine book, and also another one from her big brother, Jack. So I am not as reft as I first thought I might be when I was so dang worried about getting into the stupid Daughters of the Delta, which I'm not anymore. The three books by our very polite home-grown author Mr. Peralta are being read by hundreds of people, even though the first one is supposed to be by an ex-boyfriend of mine whose initials are JK. The other two are Bandits! and Emma Snow. Both are selling like hotcakes. I am looking forward to June when cute curly-headed Mr. Jon Riis's new book will be on the market. You can't read it yet, but you could visit our Newsletter and get a good hint about it. :-) You can buy books right on this Web site with a credit card or through your regular vendor. Unfortunately, my checking account balance is sort of low, so I'm using the free Balona Library which is now part of my rich friend Claire's cybercafe she calls "Balona-dot-Com" on Front Street.
