So I hope you're getting ready for presents. I expect a lot. Actually, I don't ever get much. But this year I'm getting some financial counseling from Ms. Verga Bless, the publisher of my poems. Actually, the poems aren't published yet since I still owe for the book number, the content editor, and the copy editor, and I haven't signed the special contracts for the book cover and the designer's fee. Ms. Bless explains all this in her confidential counseling sessions which I'm not supposed to mention. She encourages us artists to save our money so we'll have enough to pay the fees. "You're going to need money if you expect to become rich and famous," which I expect. But maybe not this year.
Anyway, Tery Ordway's story is out now. It's Nobody's Fault, which is a story about Mr. Junior Kuhl's adventures in a terrible earthquake, which he tells to my little friend Tery. She is a real bright kid who is only 12, but she listens to my literary advice, where I tell her how stuff should go, from my journalism experience.
   I won't mention Joey Kuhl.
Except that Community Spirits has Mr. Kuhl doing stuff in the story that you shouldn't teach your kids to do. Joey tends to exaggerate stuff, as told in that book.
Ms. Verga Bless doesn't want me to tell about her, since she's sort of a shy person, never coming out during the daytime. I have to go to our counseling sessions at night, where I pay my fee and then get to go into the back room of her temporary office on Front Street and lie down on a couch while she sits nearby talking to me in a soft voice. I sort of go to sleep and wake up tired, but she doesn't mind. As long as I pay my fees. She has such a soft sweet voice.
You could buy some books as presents for your kids, right here on this Web site. You could also let me know how I'm doing as a blogger by e-mailing me.    Patella's E-Mail
